The Learning Curve

Understanding network effects and its use in today's interconnected world. Read on hasmukhkerai.com Read time: 4 mins Hi Reader, Today, we're diving into network effects. I've seen it applied in various professional formats: from franchised language schools and industrial machine distributors to employee wellness programs in large organisations. It's around us more than we know, yet often underestimated. This strategic concept is used extensively in today's highly connected world, whether...

Read time: 6 mins Hi Reader, It’s been a couple of weeks now since I released my ‘Digital Habits Survey’ of the local area. A 10-minute read with stats, graphs, and references isn’t exactly a formula for virality, but that wasn’t the game plan. Even so, the reception has been strong. It has reached the inboxes and desktops of teachers at every level, from nursery to secondary and university, and the local council, including the education councillor and the mayor. I was really pleased and...

Now we need a concise one-line powerful, confident, action-oriented, pragmatic, accessible takeaway for the opening line Read time: 6 mins Hi Reader, August was about putting myself out there. Here we go again. Self-promote. Most importantly, for anyone who comes across my socials or website to find the most up-to-date information and case studies. I put a bit of money behind a post on Instagram. But one booked photo session would cover it several times over, so the downside was basically...

Platforms are moving to retain trust. Broadcasters are declaring themselves "trustworthy" Read time: 5 mins Hi Reader, It once helped you to "write with AI" and now it's asking you to help identify AI slop. It's a sharp move by LinkedIn and a good read of where digital culture is at with low-level AI content. It might look like a way to endear themselves to the increasingly influential millennial and Gen Z age group, but there's a business reason in it too (of course). I think they're...

Ara, sense...

Hi Reader, It's been a while since I've sent an email. The truth is, the longer the gap, the more I overthink this. It comes to a point where you prepare something I think you will find interesting, and just hit send. So, let's get straight into it. Have your browser tabs ready. NEWS: Recovering history with AI Vesuvius Challenge - I love this. The kind of AI use case we don't talk about enough. A previously hidden text has been revealed from a scroll burnt by the Vesuvius eruption 2000 years...
